Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the office staff and management team - Serve as a personal assistant to the office manager - Greet and assist visitors and or customers in a friendly and professional manner - Keep reception area clean and neat have guest sign registry.
- Perform general clerical duties checking orders received against packing slips & PO's.
- Scanning and attaching documents to PO's and Post receiving - Create enter and place orders and prepare PO's with detailed instructions for suppliers.
- Prepare packing slips for parts that need to be sent outside (returns, tool sharpening etc.
) - Expediate (inquire about shipping status on open PO's).
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a office receptionist role is preferred, but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in using office software programs such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Business Central 365 - Familiarity with Domestic & International Freight and Ups/ FedEx Ground shipping as well as purchasing & inventory control is a plus.
