ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Network Engineering Department is currently seeking to fill a Solutions Architect (SArch) position in the Suwanee, GA area. The SArch will work internally as a part of the IT support team and externally in support of the company cloud strategy, architecture and implementation for new and existing customers. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, design, implementation, configuration, and support of internal and external IPv4, IPv6 and cloud infrastructure. The SArch will be expected to develop and maintain systems, applications, such as AD, Exchange, CME, CUCM, and PaaS and SaaS, while maintaining security and network configurations on devices such as Routers, Switches, ASA, Failover switches, ASR', Catalyst and Nexus Switches. The SArch will demonstrate the ability to recommend upgrades and/or patches for new and existing applications and/or telecommunications equipment. The SArch will exhibit knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a field such as OSI model, enterprise campus design, RFC 1918, RFC 791 and RFC 6177. The SArch will rely on some instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and work under supervision as required.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
The SArch position requires the candidate to demonstrate the ability to multitask between several network topologies within a typical work day. The SArch will need to be extremely versatile demonstrating the ability to become the subject matter expert for new technologies as customer requirements dictate. The SArch will be required to work with customer requirements and considerations while demonstrating proper customer service skills. The SArch must be capable of researching and discovering solutions to technical problems on their own with little or no guidance. The SArch will be required to consistently train on new technologies, and to be able to train other members of the network team. The SArch will be required to support proposals writing as a SME in the candidates designated fields of expertise.

Candidate will be able to work 8
hours per day, 5 days a week and on-call 7 days a week. Candidate is expected to work in office environment and also in the field as required. The candidate needs to be available to travel to field locations GLOBALLY with little or no notice. The candidate may be required to attend the CONUS Replacement Center in order to be available to support the customer in Southwest Asia as needed.

The SArch will be expected to generate enthusiasm among team members. Proactively seek opportunities to serve in higher leadership roles, to include, challenging other member to develop and serve as a mentor to mid and junior engineers. The SArch will assist in managing the process of innovative changes and exhibit the wiliness to take on new challenges and responsibilities. The SArch will be required to lead and communicate effectively with clients to identify and evaluate business solutions to assist program managers. Must exhibit strong customer facing communication and architectural skills.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Protocol/Theory
Experience:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in End to End DC Virtualization and Cloud Architectures.
Minimum of 4 years of experience working with DoD and other Government agencies.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Network Design and implementation
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Network Engineering role in support of Route/Switch.
Broad technical knowledge of the data center and its components: Application, Storage, Network, Server and projects surrounding planning, design, implementation, operation and optimization.
Expert familiarity with cloud computing including virtualization, web services API's, elastic infrastructure, distributed data storage (database, block, object), multi-tenancy, and metered usage patterns.
In depth knowledge with virtualization tools and concepts, SAN, Server technologies and data center and cloud operations.
Strong understanding of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS and Application workloads in context of Data Center Architecture design.
Candidate must be fluent in Cisco IOS CLI
Have experience in implementing and troubleshooting MPLS and BGP in LAN /WAN environments
Have experience and knowledge with Cisco Voice and VoIP technologies
Have experience and knowledge implementing and troubleshooting VRF and VRF-lite.
Understanding of network infrastructure security technologies (Firewall, access control, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, administrative access control) and Compliance (HIPAA, DoD 8500)
Demonstrated knowledge with Layer 2 Technologies and well versed in IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP, and SSL/TLS concepts.
Experience with VPNs/Tunnels and considerations for QoS, fragmentation, acceleration, implementing all types of ACL 's, Prefix Lists and NAT
Technical documentation, public speaking, initiative, customer interaction and must operate under formal Change Management and coordinates well under informal conditions
Candidate must be strong in OSPF, EIGRP and BGP theory and application.
Candidate must have a firm understanding of VLAN's, Spanning Tree Protocol and EtherChannel.
Candidate must have a firm understanding and knowledge of QoS - classification, marking, queuing, shaping and policing, interleaving, WRED, and the multi-rate multi-color buckets
Experience supporting real-time applications over high loss/high delay links


Additional
Qualifications:

Candidate with Intimate knowledge of the OSI model and HTTP session through all layers on both endpoints and intermediary device is a plus
OS - experienced in windows/AD and UNIX/Linux is a plus
Candidate with experience and knowledge of Security, VoIP, multicast, route manipulation/redistribution, NX-OS is a plus
Previous experience in SATCOM/RF is a plus
Previous experience with VMware installation, configuration and maintenance is a plus
Experience with Cisco ASA and Next Generation Firewall (NGFW)


Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Position requires a current Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Certifications required: CCNA, CCNP; CCIE preferred, but not required.
Other training: CCDA, CCDP, CCNP Security, VMware and MSCE are a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
