Position Duties/Skillset:
Knowledge of rating systems & computer skills
Underwriting experience of 1 to 5 years with a Company or Program manager
Qualifications:
Ability to to function in the asst role for a Non Admitted underwriting market.
Independent agent/broker experience preferred
Conduct the preliminary reports, spreadsheets, phone call, computer work, daily phone work, entering endorsements, submissions, diary notes, any special recommendations or exceptions to the risk.
Highly personable demeanor, ability to build rapport, good judgment and sound decision making along with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
Ability to work in a paperless environment.
Ability to work in a high energy, fast paced, deadline driven organization

Self-motivated and accountable
Strong organization, negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work in a team environment
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships with clients, markets and colleagues
Salary commensurate with experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
