The Network Engineering Department is currently seeking to fill a Senior Engineer (SE) position in the Suwanee, GA area. The SE will work internally as a part of the IT support team and externally in support of new and existing customers. Some responsibilities include, but are not limited to, design, implementation, configuration, and support of internal and external IPv4, IPv6. The SE will be expected to develop and maintain systems, applications, such as AD, Exchange, CME, CUCM, while maintaining security and network configurations on devices such as Routers, Switches, ASA, and Failover switches, ASR, Catalyst and Nexus Switches. The SE will demonstrate the ability to recommend upgrades and/or patches for new and existing applications and/or telecommunications equipment. The SE will exhibit knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within a field such as OSI model, enterprise campus design, RFC 1918, RFC 791 and RFC 6177. The SE will rely on some instruction and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job and work under supervision as required.
Responsibilities:
The SE position requires the candidate to demonstrate the ability to multitask between several network topologies within a typical work day. The SE will need to be extremely versatile demonstrating the ability to become the subject matter expert for new technologies as customer requirements dictate. The SE will be required to work with customer requirements and considerations while demonstrating proper customer service skills. The SE must be capable of researching and discovering solutions to technical problems on their own with little or no guidance. The SE will be required to consistently train on new technologies, and to be able to train other members of the network team. The SE will be required to support proposals writing as a SME in the candidates designated fields of expertise.
Candidate will be able to work 8
hours per day, 5 days a week and on-call 7 days a week. Candidate is expected to work in office environment and also in the field as required. The candidate needs to be available to travel to field locations GLOBALLY with little or no notice. The candidate may be required to attend the CONUS Replacement Center in order to be available to support the customer in OCONUS as needed.

The SE will assist in managing the process of innovative changes and exhibit the wiliness to take on new challenges and responsibilities. The SE will be required to lead and communicate effectively with clients to identify and evaluate business solutions to assist program managers. Must exhibit strong customer facing communication and architectural skills.
Qualifications:
Protocol/Theory
Experience:
o Minimum of 8 years of experience in Network Security and implementation.
o Minimum of 4 years of experience working with DoD and other Government agencies.
o Minimum of 4 years of experience in Network Design and implementation.
o Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Network Engineering role in support of Route/Switch.
o Broad technical knowledge of the data center and its components: Application, Storage, Network, Server and projects surrounding planning, design, implementation, operation and optimization.
o Candidate must be fluent in Cisco IOS CLI
o Experience with Cisco ASA and Next Generation Firewall (NGFW)
o Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 Firewalls
o Experience with High availability, failover methods and DMZ architecture
o Have experience in implementing and troubleshooting MPLS and BGP in LAN /WAN environments
o Have experience and knowledge implementing and troubleshooting VRF and VRF-lite.
o Understanding of network infrastructure security technologies (Firewall, access control, intrusion detection, intrusion prevention, administrative access control) and Compliance (HIPAA, DoD 8500, PCI)
o Experience with system monitoring, access and update tools (SolarWinds, ACS, AD, Looking Glass and WSUS).
o Demonstrated knowledge with Layer 2 Technologies and well versed in IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP, and SSL/TLS concepts.
o Experience with GETVPN, VPNs/Tunnels and considerations for QoS, fragmentation, acceleration, implementing all types of ACL, Prefix Lists and NAT
o Technical documentation, public speaking, initiative, customer interaction under formal and informal conditions.
o Operate under formal Change Management and coordinates well under informal conditions.
o Candidate must be strong in OSPF, EIGRP and BGP theory and application.
o Candidate must have a firm understanding of VLAN's, Spanning Tree Protocol and EtherChannel.
o Candidate must have a firm understanding and knowledge of QoS - classification, marking, queuing, shaping and policing, interleaving, WRED, and the multi-rate multi-color buckets
o Experience supporting real-time applications over high loss/high delay links
Additional
Qualifications:
o OS - experienced in UNIX/Linux is a plus
o Candidate with experience and knowledge of VoIP, multicast, NX-OS is a plus
o Previous experience in SATCOM/RF is a plus
o Knowledge of the technical implementation of DISA STIGs is a plus
o Knowledge and experience with DoD 8500, FISMA, I3MP, IEEE and ARIN is a plus
o Previous experience with VMware installation, configuration and maintenance is a plus
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Position requires a current Secret clearance or the ability to obtain Secret up to Top Secret.
Certifications required: CCNA, CCNP Security; CCIE preferred, but not required.
Other training: CCDA, CCDP, CCNP, VMware and MSCE are a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
