IT Consultant (Programming & Analysis)
JOB DUTIES:
Identify & analyze requirements; Prepare a work flow chart and diagram using knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, programming language, and logic; Program by encoding project requirements in computer language; Enter coded information; Confirm program operation by conducting tests; Modify program sequence and/or codes; Provide reference for use of software by writing and maintaining user documentation; Maintain a help desk; Maintain systems and programming guidelines by writing and updating policies and procedures; Develop and maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs; Analyze requirements; Develop software systems; May perform some or all of above tasks depending on scope of each project assignment; Work involves travel/relocation to various unanticipated client sites across USA.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to have a Master's degree Or Foreign Equiv. in Computer Science or rel. field, any Engineering / Tech. field, or any Management field.
Knowledge of the following: Abstract Data Types; Classes and Objects; Code Organization; Functions; Arrays; Testing and Debugging; Pointers and Addressing; New and Delete Operators; Using Dynamic Memory, C-Style Strings; Copy Constructor; Operator Overloading; Memory Leaks and Destructor Calls; Simple File I/O and Arguments for main; Program Development; Testing and Debugging; Development Environment; Standard Template Library incl., Vectors, Iterators, Two Dimensional Vectors; Inheritance, Virtual Functions, and Dynamic Binding incl., Derived Classes, Constructors, Object Oriented Design, Virtual Functions and Dynamic Binding, Application to Container Classes, Testing for Memory Leaks; Data Structures and Algorithms; Object-Oriented Design Principles; Analysis techniques incl., Run Time, Pseudo-Code, Quick Mathematical Review, Analysis of Algorithms, Asymptotic Notation: The 'Big-Oh' Asymptotic Analysis, Stacks, Queues, Lists; Sequences; Trees; Priority Queues; Dictionaries; Sets, Sorting, Selection; Strings; Control and Arrays.
