TITLE:
IT Consultant Programming & Analysis (Sr.)
JOB DUTIES:
Provide Advanced Windows, Web, and SQL Application development and SQL reporting at a senior level; Provide job duties in technical envisioning & planning, design & development and stabilizing & releasing of enterprise wide apps featuring energy trading, risk management, work management, and CIS systems; Develop and maintain applications and databases by evaluating client needs; Analyze requirements; Develop software systems; Utilize systems analysis techniques to design, develop and modify software applications; Consult with users to determine/document business requirements & functional specs; Design system workflows and database architecture to ensure scalability & performance; Collaborate with EA team to develop & perform design reviews for each task; Create documentation for applicable tasks; Complete tasks for programming projects & support assignments; Design, develop, test windows services to enable distributed computing for complex large amount of B2B transactions; Develop or maintain standards, such as organization, structure, or nomenclature, for the design of data warehouse elements, such as data architectures, models, tools, and databases; Design, develop, test and implement complex data warehouse solutions per reqments; Develop data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction; Create or implement metadata processes and frameworks; Create plans, test files, and scripts for data warehouse testing, ranging from unit to integration testing; Develop related business operations software or solutions in specific Programming Language Frameworks, Databases, Programming Tools/IDEs, Web Servers, Web Services, and Testing Frameworks.
TECHNOLOGIES: Programming experience in .Net/C#-Windows Forms, Web Apps, WPF, WCF, SQL Server, C++; Agile Development Methods; Experience with above tech. must include .Net programming framework (using Application domains, ADO.Net, ASP.Net, Programming with Assemblies, Dynamic Source Code Generation & Compilation, Administering ASP.NET web sites, Data Access, Debug and profile applications, deploy for Windows Forms, deploy .Net Framework applications, garbage collect, Graphics in Windows Forms, globalize and localize applications, interoperability, Language integrated query, .Net Compact Framework, security in .Net Framework, Threading, Windows Services, Communication Foundation, Forms, Forms Controls, Presentation Foundation , XML, etc.); SQL Server (system transaction integration with SQL Server, Query notices, multiple active result sets; Create user-defined types, snapshot isolation/DB mirroring/provider statistics, SQLXML, asynchronous operations/User Instances, SQL Server 2003/2008, etc.); Windows OS (XP Professional, Server 2003/2008, Vista 7 Professional) using multiple interactive development environments (Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005/2008/2010) and .NET versions (2.0/3.0/3.5/4.0); Scripting Languages & Libraries: Javascript, jQuery, HTML, JSON.
REQUIREMENTS:
Applicants need to have a Bachelors or foreign equiv. in Computer Science or rel. field, any Engineering / Tech. field, or any Management field or rel. field and 5 years progressive post Baccalaureate experience in the job offered of which at least 12 months experience must be in the listed technologies.
