Senior Accountant/Financial Analyst
Our client is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant with strong Analysis skills to work closely with the Controller. The position may also be responsible for one or several aspects of general and subsidiary ledgers maintenance and preparation analysis and reports. This position requires a high level of analytical and data mining skills.
Additional responsibilities include:
Sales & Margin analysis - Review variance to budget in volume and margin rates.
Variance Analysis - Research variances as assigned, identifying root caused and recommend corrective actions or report on deviations in process.
Create Report for Bad Debt reserve tracking and reporting to controller and CFO.
Balance Sheet Reconcilations
Recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures
Work on special projects as required supporting the CFO/Controller
Assist month-end close, preparation of quarterly and annual reporting packages.
Assist in Budgeting and Forecasting exercises as required.
Assist to support internal and external audit.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience and understanding of Relational databases.
Background in data mining and improving reporting and analysis.
Base salary plus full Benefits.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
